Oyster Reef Restoration And Education Program.
Oyster reef restoration refers to the process of rebuilding or restoring of oyster reefs all over the world. It is sad to know that, based on “The Journal Of The Indian Archipelago And Eastern Asia" by J.R. Logan (1858), Kassang which was once known for its oysters, has no more oyster in 2020 (see below current oyster population). It is believed that this current environmental catastrophe is due to pollution and over harvesting. As of now, we are still discussing with the authorities on the fate of oyster reef here.
