Oyster
The presence of oysters has been recorded in “The Journal Of The Indian Archipelago And Eastern Asia" by J.R. Logan (1858). We are lucky to find the remaining population of oysters in this area. By visiting us, you will take a boat ride to see traditional oyster fishermen picking up oysters at Muar River. You will have the chance to see traditional oyster fishermen in action at Muar River during low tide with small sampans. They will dive and then disappear under the water - leaving their sampans and the long wooden poles. The long poles are used to guide them down and up from the oyster beds. A few minutes later, the fishermen will surface and throw the oysters into the sampans. This tour will end with oyster dish at nearby restaurant.
